AdminOLT has integrated a feature to create speed plans. Being able to assign speed plans to the VLANs assigned to the OLT on the same service type if your ONU is created with a line profile in priority mode or in different service types if your ONU is created with a line profile in VLAN mode

Questions

How do I create a speed plan?

Information

For this process, the ONU you will work with must be authorized with a line profile in VLAN mode. If you have any doubts about how to perform this action, you can follow the instructions in the Authorize ONU manual, Line Profile, and Advanced Configuration ONU Huawei.

Option 1:

1Go to the ONU > Authorized > Edit Speed Plan section

Option 2:

1Go to the ONU > Authorized > View Details section

1.2 Go to the Tools > Edit Speed Plan section

2Click on Add Speed Plan/Service Port

Information

In the Create Speed Plan/Service Port section, there are two sections, the first one is for creating speed plans and the second one is optional as long as it is not activated for ETH port configuration. If activated, when creating a new speed plan, you must configure a port to where that plan will be directed (this configuration can be changed at any time ETH port configuration)

3Click on Activate ETH Port Configuration and reload the page when the activation is complete

Information

With the Line Profile in VLAN mode, the CVLAN and SVLAN will come predetermined with the configuration set in the service

4 Select a Service, select an upload plan, a download plan, the port where that VLAN will be directed, and in what mode

The new speed plan will appear in the speed plan list

What is a speed plan used for?

Speed plans are necessary when configuring the ETH ports of an ONU, so they can have internet access, different speed plans in the VLANs, and communicate with other VLANs (if there are no rules from your Mikrotik)

Can I create a speed plan with an authorized ONU?

You can create a speed plan but you must consider the configurations of our ONU and our line profile if it is in priority mode or VLAN mode

How many speed plans can I create?

The number of speed plans we can create in VLAN mode depends on the number of services configured in our Line profile, as only one plan can be created per service
